Buybacks and Returns

  • A receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.
  • All textbook sales are final if purchased after the posted Returns Deadline.
  • If you write in new textbooks or remove the shrink-wrap, you will not be able to return them for the full price.
  • The Returns Deadline is normally the same as the add/drop date for classes.

  • You must have your receipt for any return.
  • Returns must be made within one calendar week of purchase.
  • All items must be in original condition: clothing may not have been worn; items must still be in their original packaging, etc.
  • Sale items are sold as-is and are non-returnable. All sales are final.

Note: The PTCC Campus Store reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange if a receipt is not provided or if the returns deadline has expired.

The Campus Store offers an on campus book buyback program at the end of the Fall and Spring semester.  We will buy back used books needed for the following semester through the campus store's wholesaler on a first-come, first-served basis.  When the Campus Store quota has been met, the wholesaler may purchase the book on a supply and demand basis at their rate.

We also offer an online buyback option.  You can sell your books online by clicking on the Online Buyback above.  The online option is closed during the on campus book buyback dates.

  4.  A new edition may have been published

  6.  The instructor may have indicated he or she will not be using the book
